About CISF ASI (LDCE) Exam
The CISF Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) is conducted by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
This exam is designed to promote deserving Head Constables / GD and other eligible serving personnel of the CISF into the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive). The examination serves as a departmental promotion mechanism, ensuring career progression within the force and strengthening the supervisory structure.
Application Process – CISF ASI (LDCE)
The application process is departmental, not open to the general public.
Only eligible serving CISF personnel (Head Constables/GD) can apply.
Applications are to be submitted through the proper channel (i.e., via unit/office, countersigned by the controlling officer).
The concerned authority verifies service records, eligibility, and disciplinary history before forwarding the application.
The CISF publishes an internal notification/circular with details of vacancies, eligibility, and timelines.
Applications are generally accepted in offline mode, with prescribed forms and supporting documents.
Final scrutiny is done at the Force HQ, after which the list of eligible candidates is sent for the examination.
CISF ASI Age Limit 2024
The CISF ASI age limit 2024 is an important criterion that must be fulfilled by the aspirants to be a part of the recruitment process. As per the official notification, the aspirants should be between 18 and 25 years old on the prescribed dates when applying for the CISF ASI Steno recruitment process. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 26.10.1998 and later than 25.10.2005 as on the prescribed dates when applying for the Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno) post in CISF. Eligibility Criteria – CISF ASI (LDCE)
Who can Apply: Serving Head Constables (GD) in CISF.
Service Requirement: Must have completed at least 5 years of regular service as on the cut-off date mentioned in the notification.
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates).
Education: Must be a Graduate (Bachelor’s degree) from a recognized university.
Standards: Should meet the prescribed physical and medical fitness standards.
Record: Must have a good service record, free from major penalties or disciplinary actions.
Application: Must apply through proper departmental channel as per CISF instructions.
Selection process
Written Examination – to test general knowledge, reasoning, and professional ability.
Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – to assess fitness levels.
Medical Examination – to ensure candidates meet the required medical standards.
Seniority & Service Record Assessment – to evaluate discipline, integrity, and past performance.
